About Francis

First, the man pictured is my grandfather. I have never met him, though, I imagine him as a great man. Second, I have a background in engineering which is only relevant when taking into consideration my average grammar and usage. I have always had the desire to write and be a writer since reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Hence, my pen name.

I’ve enjoyed reading many of the eccentric blogs leaving with the added bonus of knowing that I am not the only one mildly self-absorbed and I mean this in the most humble way. It appears to me that while we all may have different objectives for having a blog, fundamentally, we all have the same goal: to be known for something. That is why I am here. So, while I’ll try to catch up with everyone’s many poems, shorts story’s, essays, articles, rants, etc., I hope you find it in your schedule to read my short stories with the hopes that you may find them refreshing and entertaining.

Finally, while I write under the pen name Francis November, my name is simply Marcelo. I try to write stories with enough depth for the imagination to swim in but for a moment. And at the end of it all, when your imagination has completely dried, please feel free to return for a dip
